(B) In cockroaches,the respiratory system consists of a network of tubes called the $Trachea$. These tubes open to the exterior through small holes called $Spiracles$. The $Trachea$ further divide into smaller tubes called $Tracheoles$. Oxygen enters through the $Spiracles$,travels through the $Trachea$ and $Tracheoles$,and diffuses directly into the tissues. Therefore,the $Trachea$ are responsible for the transport of oxygen to the tissues,and the blood $(Haemolymph)$ does not play a role in oxygen transport.
