(B) Bulliform cells,also known as motor cells,are large,bubble-shaped epidermal cells found in groups on the upper surface of the leaves of many monocots,such as grasses (e.g.,wheat,maize,rice). These cells are thin-walled and contain large vacuoles filled with water. When water availability is low,these cells lose water and become flaccid,which causes the leaves to curl inwards to minimize water loss through transpiration. Therefore,they are found in wheat leaves.
