(D) bridge rectifier circuit uses four diodes arranged in a bridge configuration to convert alternating current $(AC)$ into direct current $(DC)$.In the given circuit,the input is applied across terminals $A$ and $C$.During the positive half-cycle of the input,current flows through the diodes such that terminal $B$ becomes positive and terminal $D$ becomes negative.During the negative half-cycle of the input,the current path changes,but due to the arrangement of the diodes,terminal $B$ remains positive and terminal $D$ remains negative relative to each other.Since the output is taken across terminals $B$ and $D$,the current through the load resistor connected between $B$ and $D$ flows in the same direction for both the positive and negative half-cycles of the input.Therefore,the output across $BD$ is a full-wave rectified signal.
