(N/A) $1.$ Compost and vermicompost: The process in which farm waste,vegetable waste,animal refuse,domestic waste,sewage,straw,and eradicated weeds are decomposed in pits. It is rich in organic matter and nutrients. Compost is also prepared by using earthworms to hasten the process of decomposition of plant and animal refuse; this is called vermicompost.
$2.$ Green manure: Prior to the sowing of crop seeds,some plants like sunhemp or guar are grown and then mulched by ploughing them into the soil. It helps in enriching the soil with nitrogen and phosphorus.
