(C) The reaction is an electrophilic aromatic substitution (bromination) of $N$-phenylbenzamide using $Br_2$ and $FeBr_3$. $N$-phenylbenzamide consists of two phenyl rings attached to an amide group. The nitrogen atom of the amide group is directly attached to one of the phenyl rings. The lone pair on the nitrogen atom is delocalized into this ring, making it an activated ring towards electrophilic substitution. Conversely, the other phenyl ring is attached to the carbonyl group $(C=O)$, which is an electron-withdrawing group, making that ring deactivated. Therefore, the electrophilic substitution occurs on the activated ring at the ortho and para positions. Due to steric hindrance, the para-substituted product is the major product. Thus, the major product is $N$-($4$-bromophenyl)benzamide.
