Other alkali metals like $Cs$ (Cesium) do not react with nitrogen to form nitrides because the lattice energy of the resulting nitride would be insufficient to compensate for the high ionization energy and the energy required to break the $N \equiv N$ triple bond. $Mg$ and $Al$ also form nitrides ($Mg_3N_2$ and $AlN$ respectively) upon heating with nitrogen.
