(N/A) Functions of the Testis:
$1$. They produce male gametes called spermatozoa through the process of spermatogenesis.
$2$. The Leydig cells (interstitial cells) secrete the male sex hormone,testosterone,which is responsible for the development of secondary sexual characteristics in males.
Functions of the Ovary:
$1$. They produce female gametes called ova (eggs) through the process of oogenesis.
$2$. The growing Graafian follicles secrete the female sex hormone,estrogen,which is responsible for the development of secondary sexual characteristics in females.
