Furthermore,two $RNA$ molecules produced simultaneously would be complementary to each other,hence would form a double-stranded $RNA$. This would prevent $RNA$ from being translated into protein,which would render the process of transcription futile. Therefore,the statement that both strands of $DNA$ are transcribed into $RNA$ is incorrect.
