As the temperature increases,the kinetic energy of the molecules increases,leading to more frequent collisions between the enzyme and substrate,which increases the rate of reaction. This continues until the optimum temperature is reached. Beyond the optimum temperature,the heat causes the denaturation of the enzyme's protein structure,leading to a loss of catalytic activity. Therefore,as the temperature rises from $3^o \,C$ to $45^o \,C$,the rate of enzyme activity initially increases and then decreases.
