There are two possibilities:- Attack at the terminal carbon leads to a more stable benzylic radical $(Ph-CH^{\bullet}-CH_2Br)$.- Attack at the internal carbon leads to a less stable secondary radical $(Ph-CH(Br)-CH_2^{\bullet})$.$4$.
