Now,$AB + BC + CD = AD$ $......(1)$
By Euclid's axiom $5$,the whole is greater than the part. Since $AD$ is a part of the line segment $AH$,we have:
$AH > AD$
i.e.,Length $AH >$ sum of lengths of $AB + BC + CD$ [Using $(1)$].
