In the first step,cyclohexene reacts with $H^+$ to form a cyclohexyl carbocation.$2$. This carbocation attacks the benzene ring to form cyclohexylbenzene.$3$. Since $2 	ext{ moles}$ of cyclohexene are provided,a second electrophilic substitution occurs on the benzene ring.$4$. Due to the steric hindrance of the bulky cyclohexyl group already present,the second substitution occurs primarily at the para-position to minimize steric repulsion,yielding $1,4$-dicyclohexylbenzene as the major product.
